NBC pulls Jimmy Fallon Mad Men promo until after Emmy voting

You may have seen the first of NBC's three 'Mad Men' spoofs promoting its Emmy broadcast last week.

If you missed them, you'll have to wait until after the Emmy voting is over to catch the spots featuring Emmy host Jimmy Fallon playing Don Draper and Christina Hendricks playing her character Joan Harris (or watch the video below).

NBC pulled the ads, saying that they aired “prematurely.”

You see, since voting is still open, some see the 'Mad Men' promo as giving the show an unfair edge, with shows against “Mad Men” in the best drama series category weren’t amused -- especially since NBC had no plans to spoof their shows too.

Emmy voting ends August 17.
