Smart Sense: Kmart introduces new private label brand

Kmart is introducing a new line of private-label products called Smart Sense.

The nearly 1,200 products under the brand will range from from snacks foods and beverages to oral care, paper products, household cleaners and over-the-counter medications.

In-store, the private-label products will compete with name-brand products, but they will also place Kmart in direct competition with Target's has Archer Farms and Up and Up, and Walmart's Great Value products.
