You can rent Conan O'Brien's crib on Airbnb: Coco and Cocoa not included

You may have heard of Airbnb, a global network of accommodations offered by locals. It's Craigslist meets VRBO.

Looking for a Hipster hideaway in San Francisco or New York? Airbnb has a place to rest your fedora.

Obviously, connecting to the right audience is critical for Airbnb. One way the company is apparently trying to make this connection is through guerilla celebrity endorsement.

Conan O'Brien (or Coco to those who matter) has recently placed a vacation rental listing on Airbnb. No, you don't get to rent Coco's house in Los Angeles, you get to rent his studio in Burbank.

That's right--the punny, funny, sarcastic and irreverant talk show host is offering his TV show set out to you, and three of your friends for a 4-day visit.

Here's the listing:

Cozy and charming "Conan" television studio located in the heart of Burbank, CA, only a short walk to the set of "Gilmore Girls" and Warner Bros commissary. Historic building where "Goonies" was filmed. Currently used to film "Conan" television program.

Sleeping accommodations include a celebrity-grazed sleeper sofa and additional air mattress (needs repair). Linens provided, but recommend bringing your own for undisclosed reasons. Great for families (children 16+) looking to relax in over 25,000 square feet of musty warehouse space. Includes use of 40 ton industrial air conditioning system, 25 LCD television monitors (no HBO), and fully stocked kitchenette with intern. Shower must be shared with guest bands. Free Wi-Fi.

We like the imaginative approach to publicity. There's no mention of a "deal" between marketer and endorser, but regardless, both Conan and Airbnb benefit from this as publicity stunt. Conan's profile says there's a 100% response rate to inquiries, another social media connection opportunity.
