Adele in Vogue: Another star airbrushed within an inch of their celebrity.

Recently, Karl Lagerfeld, the fashion icon, was quoted as saying "The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice."

Adele's response to People magazine: “I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines, I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that."

But, almost on cue, Adele is on the cover of the March issue of Vogue magazine, looking far skinnier than in reality--another star airbrushed within an inch of their celebrity.

We don't know if Adele had an opportunity to approve the image--we suspect not, but sadly, the photo still flies in the hallowed-out, airbrushed face of this amazing star.

Adele's brand image is soft and elegant--and she is truly a great talent and can rely on that, over the fickle world of celebrity beauty. As her talent rises perhaps the media should pay more attention.

Even Lagerfeld has apologized: "Adele is my favorite singer and I am a great admirer of her. Adele is a beautiful girl. She is the best. And I can’t wait for her next CD.”
