To us, this retrofitted 1966 VW Bus Bulli T1 with Bombardier snow tracks is the perfect urban assault vehicle to tackle this weekend’s winter storm hitting the Eastern seaboard. An Austrian engineer created the adventuremobile which looks like it would have no trouble dealing with the affects of the wicked Nor’easter called “Nemo.”
The Huckberry blog reports that the mobile can reach up to 30 mph in the snow. And best yet, when parked, it has a full automatic pop-top which emerges with a 1,000 watt subwoofer and 2 × 300 watt speakers.
We think you’ll agree that is wise to be “amped” when taking on the affects of a wicked winter storm like Nemo.
