Just in Case—the tongue-in-cheek, end-of-the-world survival kit

Eschatology—the study of the supposed final events of history—the ultimate destiny of humanity, suggest that the end of the world as we know it is due on December 21, 2012. There are some who believe in this phenomenon, and many others who think it is all a bunch of bologna (a packaged meat food that is certain to survive the apocalypse).

But, just-in-case the end of the world does happen this year, why not be prepared? In a fantastically tongue-in-cheek self-promotional design exercise, the folks at Mexico’s MENOSUNOCEROUNO have created the perfect end-of-the-world survival kit—Just In Case.

The collection of ‘essential’ products packaged in “Hazard Yellow” includes basics like water, a knife and matches, but we tend to be drawn more to the Mayan liqueur and a bite of cinnamon-laced dark chocolate. Because, if the world is going to end, you have to have chocolate!
