Shepard Fairey Designs New International Space Station Badge.

Artist Shepard Fairey is perhaps best known for his indelible image of Barack Obama encouraging "Hope" during his 2008 presidential campaign. Then, in 2012, the street artist has teamed up with Neil Young to create the artwork for the rocker's album with Crazy Horse, "Americana," the band's first release in nine years.

Now, he’s designed the official badge for the International Space Station. Nonprofit organization CASIS (the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space) asked for a new mission badge to be used on the center’s inaugural sponsored flight.
