Sunday in Shorts: Catnip: Egress to Oblivion.

All too often, short films are overlooked and under appreciated by Hollywood. Each weekend we open up the film vault to bring you Sunday shorts. So take time to pull out that chaise lounge, kick back and relax, and check out some of the best short films being made today.

This week, Jason Willis brings us his Sundance Audience Award winning short film, Catnip: Egress to Oblivion. Imagine the 1936 film Reefer Madness, which informed parents of the dangers their children faced using marijuana; now replace children with cats and marijuana with catnip et voilà, a perfect piece of comedic catnip propaganda. My cat will sorely miss his stash of nip that I found hidden behind the litter box. Check it out.
