The Cosby Sweater Project

I'm often asked, "What is Tumblr and why does it exist?" Rather than give you a bunch of business consulting mumbo-jumbo, I'd like to point to three seemingly diverse, infinitely deep, and magically delicious Tumblogs. 1). The New York Times' "Lively Morgue," 2). Robert Downey Jr. if he were a pin-up girl, and our latest find, 3). The Cosby Sweater Project.

The Cosby Sweater Project celebrates the iconic sweater designs of the Huxtable family from the 1984-1992 run of the NBC show which introduced American viewers to the never-before-showcased-on-TV Bill Cosby show featuring an Affluent African-American family living in Brooklyn, and living out loud is some brightly colored sweaters. Without commentary, The Cosby Sweater Project celebrates this place and time, and utilizes Tumblr to its fullest.
