It's a beautiful day in the neighbohood, because THE HIP-STIR is back! Aren't you excited? I know that I am. I mean, who doesn't like cool things. All in one place. It's just such an easy to digest format, it's like pepto bismol for the internet. Yeah, that's probably the best analogy to make... ANYWAY, this week on the roster, we've got: The Pebble Watch, Painting with Light and Strobe Bullet Time, The Devium Dash, Lotte Time Lapse, and the "I Know that Voice" trailer.
Sound vague enough for you? GOOD. I guess you'll just have to read to see what I'm talking about.
The Pebble Watch tells time, but WAIT, there's more!
The Pebble watch isn't currently being produced for the masses, but you better believe it will be soon enough! These guys have already made sixty times their desired amount on kickstarter, and with good reason.
The pebble watch uses e-paper technology to give you a dynamic watch display, which can be altered at will. Aside from that, it links up with your smartphone to do all sorts of crazy things. You can use it to select songs to play, check your text messages, and autosend text replies to your girlfriend when she's pestering you. The last feature sounds particularly usefu– oh, what. Dammit. Nevermind.
Aside from that, this thing is going to get larger. The watch is resilient, upgradable, and open for developers. I definitely just convinced myself to buy one of these. Try to keep yourself from doing the same thing, here.
There's light painting and bullet time on the next page, so click that orange triangle!
