Matt Groom and Whitney Phillips of Warren, Vermont take scraps of wood and make one-of-a kind skateboards. They forage, recycle, reclaim, rehab and reuse every piece of wood they can get their hands on—turning pieces of wood into Warren Pieces—homemade skateboards.
Long Pieces go for $400, Mini Pieces and Square Pieces for $250. They’ve even designed wall mounts to be illuminated from behind that are works of art themselves.
Warren Pieces is pure Vermont entrepreneurship at its best. Check out their recent video to see what they’re all about.
