Interview Magazine hires a very well-connected young man, Peter Brant Jr.

It seems that Interview Magazine has a new reporter. “I will be interviewing Daphne Guinness, who is an old friend of mine. Ralph Lauren, people like that. John Galliano.” says the latest employee of the magazine founded by Andy Warhol.

Who is this well-connected reporter?

His name is Peter Brant Jr. a 17-year-old attending Greenwich (CT) High School.

A young savant?

Well no. He's just well connected.

You see Peter's father is Peter M. Brant an American industrialist, businessman, entrepreneur, art collector, movie producer and avid horseman who's worth an estimated $2.4 billion. Peter Jr.'s mom is supermodel Stephanie Seymour.

According to Women's Wear Daily (WWD) Brant said his media studies have pretty much been nil. “Besides having a 45-minute chat with Charlie Rose in Vienna about how to interview someone. That’s about it,” he said.

Oh, did I mention that Interview Magazine is owned by Brant Publications, Inc.

Clearly, it pays to be born well-connected.
