Hey Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, Movember is nearly upon us.
Starting November 1, as it has for the last decade, “Movember” is a month-long fundraising event to raise awareness and funds for men’s health. The event supports men’s health programs in the fight against prostate and testicular cancer and mental illness. Essentially, for the month of November, moustachioed men become walking, fundraising, hairy billboards.
Soon we’ll be seeing Mo Bros all around us—growing mustaches for the cause, and raising funds from supportive Mo Sistas and other Mo Bros in crowd funded campaigns.
All of you clean-shaven guys can register yourself on Movember.com and grow and groom a moustache for the 30 days of November. As you bros grow out your Mos, you’ll get your family and friends to donate to their efforts in the name of men’s health.
According to organizers, the global Movember movement has spread to more than 3 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas participating in 21 countries around the world—over 1 million in the U.S. last year, raising $147 million worldwide. In the U.S., more than 209,000 participants raised $21 million.
Come-on Bro, grow a Mo.
