Biking baristas offer Joe on the go from Bike Caffe

We at 5 Blogs Before Lunch are huge fans of street food. And we love the mobile food truck craze.

So we were thrilled to hear that the new trend in gourmet food trucks is pedalling baristas. It seems that mobile coffehouses have been springing up around Europe for a while.

Now, a U.K.-based company is introducing pedaling baristas in Denver, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Phoenix and calling itself Bike Caffe.

The four-wheeled bicylces have a full-service coffee bar in front, which serves ultra-eco-friendly 100-percent fair-trade coffee, Italian-style espresso, and other expected and tasty treats including Chai, lattes, and smoothies.

Bike Caffe says it's "High in flavor, low in guilt," and that the company aims for "a footprint that leaves no trace except satisfied customers."

"After all, a great cup of coffee is only better when topped with a splash of sunshine and made by a company who cares enough to pedal their way to your hearts."
