Burger King Bombs Japan with Pumpkin Toppings: Say Hello to the "BK Pumpkin Burger" and the "Pumpkin Bomb"

Burger King’s slogan is “Have it Your Way,” and in Japan that means having your burger topped with pumpkin.

For a limited time, starting on October 26, Burger King is offering the BK Pumpkin Burger that includes two slices of pumpkin—or “kabocha” as it is known in Japan. The burger is also topped with bacon, lettuce, and a creamy, savory nut sauce (with sesame seeds, peanuts, almonds, cashews, and hazelnuts). The sesame bun is meant to be pumpkin-shaped. And, if you have a super-sized pumpkin craving, Burger King also is offering a “Pumpkin Bomb” offering with 10 slices of kabocha.

But wait, there’s more. For a limited time, you can get pumpkin on any burger.

While we are unsure if the pumpkin toppings are simply a seasonal fruit offering or tied to an increase in Halloween festivities in the country, we are compelled by the idea.
