Getting your foot in the door at your first job out of college has been a challenge for generations. But one particularly creative approach has been getting a fair amount of notice across the Internet. Two twenty-somethings created a “Toilet Book,” a 16-page version of their creative portfolio strategically placed in the bathroom stalls of nine advertising agencies in New York City.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International, the organization created a campaign featuring images of cakes decorated with the faces of notorious dictators--like Belarusian Alexander Lukashenko and Cuba's own Fidel Castro. The lifelike desserts have a giant piece taken out of them where the mouth would be. The ad's headline: "50 years together with you cutting down the voice of oppression."
