In 2008, Jerry Seinfeld famously flopped in his ad campaign with Bill Gates for Microsoft.
Now he returns at this year's Super Bowl, hawking for Acura. Jerry's is so excited about the new Acura NSX that he will stop at nothing to acquire the very first one.
The spot successfully uses the Seinfeld humor we expect, and even brings back the Soup Nazi from his old series. It is good humor, with a clear integration with the product. Nice job Acura.
Of course, even Jerry will have to wait. The NSX is still a concept car. Acura's pushing it to build its brand image, and to push sales of its more practical cars.
