P&G says "Thank you, Mom" and "Here's To Dad" in Olympic Promotional Campaigns.

Procter & Gamble’s 2012 Summer Olympic sponsorship theme has been “Thank You, Mom.” But as a hat-tip to Father’s Day (and to the P&G businesses like Gillette that cater to men) the company is expanding the campaign to embrace Dads.

"Here's To Dad," uses sports stars Roger Federer, Tyson Gay and Ryan Lochte in a 30-second spot breaks tonight during Game 6 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals, and will extend across its media buy under the tagline "Gillette, the best a man can get."

And, of course there is a social-promotional aspect of the campaign, with Gillette  searching for the "greatest fatherly advice ever" on Facebook and Twitter (#HeresToDad).

P&G’s Here’s To Day promotion goes through June 17. Thank You, Mom" creative will continue through the Olympics.
