Apparently a cheese-stuffed crust wasn't enough for Pizza Hut. The restaurant chain is now offering a "Hot Dog Stuffed Crust" pizza with a mustard drizzle. The company's website describes it as a "Succulent hot dog sausage bursting from our famous stuffed crust, with a FREE Mustard Drizzl"
Sadly, the pie is only available in the U.K. with no plans to bring it to the U.S. which appears to be on more of a healthfood kick lately at its fast food restaurants--with with Burger King's revamped and healthier menu options.
The folks at Gizmodo are nearly inconsolable over the U.S. being overlooked by Pizza Hut.
"What the hell, America? I thought we were the land of junk food? I thought we were hot dog heaven. I mean, sure, we didn't invent pizza, but we damn sure invented Pizza Hut! Delicious but disgusting-if-you-think-about-it cuisine is what we do best."
And come to think of it, since the stuffed crust pizzas are only available in the U.K. Shouldn't they be called "Banger Stuffed Crust?"
