The cruise industry is driven by marketing events. From the family-friendly Disney Cruise Line to the gay and lesbian themed Olivia and Atlantis cruises, it is all about gathering up like-minded people and convincing them to spend a week or so together on a huge floating party boat.

Nowadays, you can sign up to sail with the likes of John Mayer, New Kids On The Block, Backstreet Boys, or even Kid Rock.
While fans may not end up hanging by the pool all day with Mayer or Kid Rock, they do get to see live concerts, and share their cruising experience with like-minded others while "Waiting for the World to Change."
