Wódka Vodka is positioning themselves in the "affordable luxury spirits segment," offering an ultra-premium, authentic rye vodka within a single-digit price point. To tie into this positioning, Wódka just launched a new tongue-in-cheek $1M dollar outdoor campaign with the tagline “Movie Star Quality, Reality Star Pricing.”
The new campaign features little-known reality star Jonathan Cheban, who appears in two E! Entertainment shows--"Spin Crowd" and "Keeping up with the Kardashians." The billboards forward the brand’s message of offering an ultra-premium, authentic rye vodka within a single-digit price point.
“We are glad to have Jonathan on board for the new campaign,” said James Dale, President of Panache Imports, the North American distributor of Wódka. “’Movie Star Quality, Reality Star Pricing’ — I think that says it all. Wódka is a premium vodka that we can offer at an honest price by forgoing the mark-up associated with multimillion dollar, celebrity-driven marketing campaigns.”
And while we think the "Movie Star Quality, Reality Star Pricing" theme is fine, we much prefer the other two taglines we found on their website. (items 2 & 3 in the slider)
